LR3 Thermostat Location / Difficulty to Access?
Right under the engine cover. You will have to rebuild it, it is not a one peice thermostat. It is inside a small manifold with four bolts holing it on. Usualy what happens is the O-ring seal around the inner plate creases. -
Remove & Replaced battery--Now I'm screwed HELP !!!!
Any time you disconnect the battery on an 03-05 Range Rover you need to work the steering wheel left and right (lock to lock). It recalibrates the steering angle sensor.- TRD4ME

Rear Hatch Stuck Closed!
The issue is usualy with the cable attetched to the latch actuator. It shears off at the actuator and leaves no way to open the hatch. You have to peal back the lower trim panel from the inside and cut open the water shedder and break the latch cable out. It is fairly simple. Parts are... -

Overheating 06
Leaking from the bleeder valve is common. It's located next to the EGR valve. Its a plastic part and gets very hot. I have yet to see one leak to the point of causing overheat though. It is usualy a very, very slow leak. -
Alignment knowledge, need some help
A factory scantool (testbook) is required to put the vehicle in tight tolerance mode for any alignment procedures. -
Trouble dropping the oil pan in my Disco
Disco oil pans are sealed with 'Right Stuff' or similar high build rtv silocone. A prybar or rubber mallet will be required to break the seal. Be carefull not to pry on the sealing edge! -
Air filter
Freelander cabin filter is located inside the heater plenum, you remove the panel under the passengers feet and it is to the left. There whould be two phillips screws holding it in place. Sounds like you dropped a cylinder sleeve. The KV6 engine has loose fitting steel cylinder walls that when overheated expand and crush the head gasket, then when cooled bounce around inside the bore of the engine.
