    Thermistor poblem Many times the scanner will give a message rather than a code, as in this case,the message tells you what the problem is, ie, a problem at the radiator outlet tempperature thermistor. Bill:cool:

    eas inactive

    EAS problem did they give you a print out showing what the fault is? I would get a second opinion, find a local independent Land Rover shop who has the OBD scanner that can check what the problem is.

    Sulphur smell Yes this is a problem as it usually indicates a rich running engine, if it continues it will damage the catalysts. Normally the engine ECU would indicate a problem due to a miss etc, is the check engine light on?

    This is a 2000 LR 4,0 we have a trouble message (No code) radiator outlet temperature thermistor fault. this car does not have a switch at the base of the radiator only the double contact switch on the manifold, any ideas?

    any EAS work-arounds...

    Eas This is my first post and I have a question but I thought i could help first. It is sometimes possible to raise the vehicle not the axles rear then front, and get it to pump up. Other wise if you have to drive it I suggest lowering the tyre pressures to about 20psi.

    $1800 is way to much, prices range from 1100 to 1400. What is wrong with your air system? The conversion is not complicated you just have to have the ability to raise the vehicle and do the grunt work.

    try disconnecting the battery for a few seconds, get the radio code first.

    The answer is to scan the vehicle and reset the system, so many things can cause these problems, it has to be scanned!
