98 disco 1 changed brake lines soft peddle

blew a rotted line changed lines and been bleeding my brains out all around and peddle is just starting to get stiff when pumping then soft again do they need to b power bled or is it just hat time consuming

Welcome to the forum. The D1 shouldn't be a major issue, the D2 to bleed you have to activate the ABS unit, I am 99% sure on the D1 this isn't needed. Are you doing this by yourself or with help?
