Air suspension

Hey folks…. I have a 2008 rover hse sport…… recently I’m hearing a loud noise coming from a small black box directly under the rear left door…it has three holes in it and two clips that hold the cover on. i believe it’s connected to the air suspension system because it starts to Makevthe noise when the air suspension is selected. Then goes off within a minute. It won’t come on again unless I raise or
owner the suspension.

any suggestions on what this is would be appreciated

pretty sure what you are describing is the Air Suspension Compressor pump.
