Been thinking about switching it up...

Believe it or not, even a nice Tahoe LTZ is $60,000, although it is quite a bit larger...

That's what sold me on the LR4... I could not even get a Tahoe with similar appointments as the LR4 for the price of the LR4, plus the size of a Tahoe is just way too much for me. Not to mention the Tahoe's legendary off-road capability

I have actually considered getting an LTZ Tahoe, because I would really like something bigger. I know if I lived out west (Wyoming, Montana) I would have a Tahoe + Silverado or Expedition (when they redo it) + F150...

Clearly the Tahoe is not as good off road and the interior materials are cheaper, but there is just something about them that I like...

I like the Tahoe as well, but it's too big. If I needed something that large (and had the room for it), I still find it rather pricey. Of course they deal on them a lot more than LR4's, but still.

We have a new Tahoe in Utah and it's OK - nothing like the LR4. It's very cheap feeling, but pretty powerful. As far as off road capability - I'd keep it just to dirt roads, as it's more of a people mover.
