Best online source form a oem timing chain kit?

I am shopping for my new to me 11' lr4 5.0. Its needs the timing chains done and I'm pondering where to purchase them from. Naturally I want OEM parts only as they have lasted this long. I've considered LK8 and AB so far are there any other reputable vendors I should consider?

I've had good luck with FCP euro for other parts

I shopped around as I found some of the kits had parts I didn't need and other parts missing. I also did my cooling system at the same time (makes sense while you're in there). If you pm me with an email address I'll send you my two separate parts lists (one list for the timing chains and another list for the cooling system - if you're interested).

I just recently did the timing chains and complete cooling system replacement. I sourced everything from FCP Euro, AutohausAZ, and Lucky8. If I had to do it over again, I’d skip the “kit and source everything separately. I’d be happy to share my parts list and experience if you’re interested.

I have recently rebuilt my engine on a 2010 LR4 (V8 5.0L) - photos below and work is still ongoing.

We pulled the engine out (body on) and went all the way down to the oil pan.

I mostly (but not entirely) used Atlantic British (OEM or better) parts such as the -

I also did the heads on this job, using their kit -

Of course, to do these jobs you will need a good amount of special tools, such as -

We also rebuilt the cooling system as well as replaced all the motors and such (like water pump, "Generator" (alternator), vacuum pump, starter motor, etc) to include things like all the steering hoses.

There are a number of good videos out there to assist as well as a lot of experience from the folks on the forum.

I have had (thus far) very good experience with Atlantic British but did also had to purchase some additional things (and there were still a few things missing) for the whole engine rebuild. My favorite example is this little plastic part behind the VVT / Variators called the "Oil Restrictor"...which I had to order from Parts Geek. Knowing little things like this is what makes a difference going into the job (as I now look back on it...).
