We traded in our 2010 for the 2012 model a couple weeks ago. I've been noticing a rather annoying high pitched noise in the new LR4. Oddly enough, I don't notice it every time I am in the car, but often I will be driving merrily on my way when I suddenly think of it, and then realize I am hearing it. Of course, I can't tell if it is just there and finally creeps into my consciousness, or if I start thinking of it and then notice it. Sometimes it is just a bit bothersome, other times it boarders on being aggravating.
I haven't been able to pinpoint where it is coming from. I am thinking of opening the hood while it is running to see if it seems louder there. I suppose I wonder if there is just more going on electronically in the new model, and I just have sensitive ears.
