Hey guys...

I'm getting this code on my Disco I 1996:

"Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control"

This is couples with slightly rough idling, but I'm not sure if they are related.

Any ideas?

I would bet that your thermostat is stuck open, therefore the engine is being kept too cool, and is unable to maintain "normal" temperature for optimum fuel efficiency.

I suppose I should post some more information. Didn't really think of it.

This happens only seconds after start up - so there is no way the engine could warm up that fast - and the engine does get plenty warm - I actually worry it might over heat, but it hasnt yet.

I also have a flickering oil light when in nuetral (manual trans). I've read that might be clogged oil sump so I might have to take a stab at removing and cleaning that screen myself (never done such a thing)

Item one sounds like a fuel temp sensor going bad.

Item two would be a possible clogged pick up screen.
