Shocking indeed! Especially that the extra inch or so of clearance could only ever come in handy off road, where by definition a donut won’t serve much purpose… So the argument is circular. Not to mention that I’ve covered some decently rough terrain during my 4 years with this car and hitting the ground with my spare has never been an issue. Fellow offroaders driving behind me did wonder how that thing is hanging low… But those wheels do indeed travel far up and down, so the only type of terrain I can imagine that is a problem would be descending off a big slab with a steep vertical edge. That may happen in Utah, I suppose (never been) but isn’t likely anywhere else in the world
