I thought the upgrade was for the actual arms, not the bushing quality/longevity. beefier and tougher to damage?

I don't think so...it's all a big myth, perpetuated by Kaizer Soze.

He says under $400 but you need to buy hardware for $100, so about $500.00 for everything, Not bad at all. They are suppose to be OEM arms and he says they've lasted over 5 years for Eric. Wonder how stiff the ride will be? The suspension I mean :eek:

I noticed different brands for the lower control arms. Any particular one better than the other?

New to the LR3 world. How often are the control arms replaced on a typical basis? What are indicators for when they need to be replaced?

From what I've read it's around 70-80k miles
