Ouch, that sucks, but you have a working car now, and let's not forget how much you saved with doing the hard work yourself. A lot of people aren't knowledgeable enough or brave enough to attempt that sort of maintenance, so well done you.

Go for a drive if you're able and enjoy :)

I had the exact same problem where I had the secondary temp sensor connector swapped with the manifold connector. The vehicle will not start as the ECU would read a faulty temp reading. I replaced the temp sensor, same issue wouldn’t start. Very hard to believe but it’s entirely plausible the connectors are interchangeable.
