Removing plastic side sills thingies on D1

Ok. So i am about to start putting sliders on.

How the heck one can remove those plastic rivets or whatever they are?
I tried to pry one out and it exploded in bits.

Any pointers?

Thats ok.. Figured it out. Hammer, flathead screwdriver and two 10mm wrenches.. :)

Pry them off and don't worry about them breaking.
Who's sliders are you going to use??

They are off (plastic sills), surface cleaned and painted, gonna start installation tomorrow.

They are made Dave Lucas (slickrockfabrication.com). Looks cool, following all the lovely curves of Disco underbody, weights like serious items. Dave been nice enough to crate them with big care and they made it from his shop to me in about 3 days.

Dave - well its up to you :) I can also attest that installation can be done by single person and good jack lift. Here is pic - a tad far away but still:

Yep. I am painting nut :) Painted truck to match my ideas. Then painted sliders.. :) Next, if things permit is to paint bumper into matching yellow too :)

(Black things on sides are vynil btw)
