I just put a set of 18" Compomotives with Cooper ST MAXX LT265/65/18 on my 2014 LR4. I have the iLAND Diagnostic
tool. How to set the tire size for accurate speedometer readings is not described in the manual and so far in scrolling through
the menus, I have not found the proper place. Any hints? Thanks.
Sorry don't mean to hijack here, but are you really able to actually input the wheel/rim diameter into the vehicle' system?
And if so then should I have had my dealership update this data in my LR4 when I went from 20 inch rims (that came with my lux) to the standard spec 19 inch rims?
Because now I am wondering if the system actually takes the entered wheel/rim info into account (along with the tire' info) and adjusts certain parameters (maybe the suspension tuning, etc) due to the varying sidewall heights between the 20 and the 19 inch rim/tire combos.
I mean, the ability to feed the system this info is gotta be there for a reason, right?
Jimmy, thanks for the IID tool screen images. Your screen images look very different from my iLand tool, so I suspect you are using a different tool. Although I have been through most of the screens on mine, I don't see this. Which tool is this?
Jimmy, Thanks again. I just got off of a support call with iLAND and the iLAND tool cannot do the resize functions of the GAP tool. For basic fault diagnostics and resets it appears OK, but I will get a GAP tool. Lesson Learned.
@Jimmy Brooks you the man! I recalibrated mine using IPC:30 and now the speedo is spot on. At 75, I am running 75.4 according to GPS. This is with tire size of 275 55 20. Thanks again.
