So just FYI in case anyone else is planning to really off road their rig - after this weekend, I am really glad I went the rattle can Steel-IT route. I ran Middle Fork of the St. Vrain trail outside Boulder. It is a pretty solid moderate trail. Had to really pick lines and stack rocks in 2 spots (at least I did) and I scratched the living crap out of the wheels. Had I paid top dollar for them, I'd be crying today. A little pressure wash and a touch up with the can and I'm back in business. The design of the lr3 wheel lends itself to getting scratched on a rocky trail.
