    Windshield washer fluid reservoir leaking

I have done a topical search and found none so here goes... I have a substantial leak in my windshield fluid reservoir. I have tried to see if it is somehow cracked or if it is leaking from the tubes or pump. I began to take it out in order to completely assess the situation, but after taking...

    Best tires for LR3

I got cooper zeon LTZ's earlier this week (285-60-18) They look WAY better than the factory ones and ride great. much quieter than I anticipated, and The width just feels right. Not too aggressive looking tread but enough. So far so good but I will keep you posted after 5k.

How often does the suspension compressor run?

mine seemed to be running pretty frequently. It went bad shortly after and it was replaced. pretty much right after it was replaced (a few days) I got a suspension fault light. I assumed the dealer that replaced it, did something wrong. Actually, after further inspection I had a minor leak in a...

cooper tires and crappy gas milage

i'm sure this has probably already been asked somewhere, but since nearly the entire vehicle is computerized, can you "recalibrate" something or input a new tire size somewhere and have the speedometer or something make the adjustments to give a modified speed and MPG?

    DC-AC Power Converter Install location?

Oh yeah there is quite a bit of room under there. I also could also put it under one of my third row seats. The manufacturer says do not put it under seats etc, but I don't see the difference between that and a stereo amp.

    Exhaust Mod

I assume there would there not be any issues passing the stupid CA smog test because the cut is after the CAT and your only removing the muffler correct? that is if I want to not have the bolt on option and run the cut version all the time.

    DC-AC Power Converter Install location?

So I want to permanently install a 600 or 800 Watt power converter so I can plug in small appliances, etc. I will connect it directly to the battery. I think I would like it in the rear cargo area, but have not really found a good place to put or conceal it. One thought was in the compartment...

How do you outfit the LR3 for family vacations (gear hauling)

Thats great! a little pricey but if you really need the room a great option. I just make my 2 blue 5 gallon jugs fit in the back or strap them on top.

How do you outfit the LR3 for family vacations (gear hauling)

I purchased a few 23 Gallon black plastic storage lockers pretty inexpensively from walmart (I think $18 each) I fit a lot of my camping gear in those and they easily strap to the roof rack, I also have a "weather resistant" Thule bag that I can pack full with soft gear, backpacks tent, folding...

    Knuckle Headed Move

I think I also did a few weeks ago what chesapeake was describing. I was going pretty fast in a wash in Anza Borrego, and saw some pretty big whooptys coming up real fast so i tried to down shift really quickly...it got really rough really fast and amidst all of the bouncing, the shifter lever...

    Knuckle Headed Move

I know that if i leave it in sport mode and do not shift it, it will do it automatically shift (rev limiter?), usually before 7-7500 rpm though. I honestly think that i saw the tach @ 7500 on its way down from nearly burried because i may have shifted it into neutral, or possibly i pushed the...

    Expedition Roof Rack

i'm not entirely sure how a rack mounts to LR4 but if its like the LR3 (with rail, you could look into a Baja Rack. they make a basket version that I think looks way better than the one you are considering, is about $400 less and will actually carry some gear. I believe the expedition rack for...
