I have seen those boards at OK Offroad, Tracmat, and similar but have never been able to find a weight rating for them.

Have you actually used the HD version as a bridge? Did it support the weight and return to flat?

I think our trucks are in a similar weight range, so if you have done it without issue, I will order up a set and relegate the Prospeed rack to the attic.

I hear you on the glass roof. I hate having that thing up there. Surprised mine has lasted this long without being broken

Thanks.

I don't know about these having a test rating but I did see a Defender on them so I figured that was sufficient.

The cool thing is the Hannibal rack goes right over them. These can stay full time and don't interfere with the big rack mounting points which are 6 yakima landing pads with the round steel cross bars cut to fit within the width of the hannibal side rails.

I R/R the rack on my own, no help even though it's in the 100+ lb range.

5600lb truck on low profile the sidewalls have to be tough. I switched to lr 18" rims and went for bfg at ko2 265/60/18. No rubbing, only fractionally larger than stock.

Great tire in snow but they are heavy compared to the previous 255/55/19 Nokian wr3 suv road tire. 50lb vs about 35lb. Lose about 1l/100km in mileage so get between 12.7 and 14.1 l/100km as opposed to previous 11.7 to 13.5. Being E load rated tire they also have thick hard sidewalls so lose a little sharp bump absorption - ride not as good over potholes but you won't be dinging your rims though.

Also affects handling a little. Steering needs a little more care and if you push it ******* corners stability kicks in, likely because more flex.

For off road, allows a little airing down, resistance to punctures and sidewall damage plus meaty tread traction i recommend 18" in this size bfg. 19" not going to be as tough and a little more susceptible to rim damage.
