If I did a new bracket run I would see what the cost increase would be to increase the gauge and give a little more room for a thicker light, but for me this certainly works. Asilver’s solution has a lip over the existing bracket and holds it level.

I’ve purchased a wireless light system, but haven’t hooked up completely yet. My plan is to put the control unit in the driver side box and route the power line over to the battery box. There’s not a great spot on the passenger side for the control unit.

Just trying to keep from going thru the firewall, keep the unit separate from the engine, and have easy access to the wiring.

Looks great, a little more distance to help clear a deeper depth lamp would be perfect.

I love the round aux light look on square trucks like ours

Looks great and very glad to hear the bracket worked well for you. I agree that on future runs we can extended the mounting points out to allow for additional lighting options and I will also look into a thicker metal gauge while I'm at it. So far the bracket legs have held up well for me and I have put a few thousand highway miles on mine which is where I was most worried about those deforming.

Let me know how you make out with the wireless relay and let me know if you have any other thoughts or adjustments for the bracket in the next couple weeks!

It looks great! Especially with the blacked out grille. Very glad it worked out for you as well!
