I can't find the fuel pump relay for my 1997 discovery. I know that it's suppose to be on the right side of the driver side kickpanel and I know that it's suppose to be connected to a blue terminal but there are no relays in the driver side kickpanel. I found some in the passenger side kickpanel but none are in a blue terminal. There is one in a black terminal but the wire colors are not what the owners manual says it should be. Am I completely missing something????? Any help on this would be appreciated.

I thought the D1's had that relay inside the engine compartment, passengers along side thew wheel well towards the firewall.

I don't see anything other than the computer. I even pulled out the windshield washer fluid tank. I have seen other posts and I called land rover and they all say it's in the driver side kickwell but I don't see them

If it's like my 95. It is located in the pass side footwell (side nxt to pass door). Remove panel. Should be the upper row and closest to the door. It's called k119 if you have the
Electrical manual veiw 151. Very hard to see as the pics are quite crummy.

Hey Joey;

I think D-Mike has it right - its right next to the ECU box inside the engine room - passenger's side (i.e., its a fuel relay and multi unit - but you can only purchase as one unit: i.e. Relay - Fuel Pump - Multifunction

That is really odd, my Fuel pump relay is passenger foot well....

I guess it depends on who built it... woo hoo, more troubleshooting knowledge.

Well, let's face it - that's why we love our Landi's - its all those hand-built quirks and differences that make them interesting. If we wanted boring old carbon copy perfection - unit after unit - we would switch to a Toyota or Nissan - right?

Ok so who was the high level shmuck that moved the relay didn't have anything better to do. Who owned landrover that year? Probably an executive high level move. Bring about change so you've got to have a specific year manual. Well at least you've found it.
