Ouch. I'm guessing there was a lot of labor involved finding the short?

Surely they just fixed the wire and didn't replace a whole harness?

That hurts, but glad its sorted and thanks for posting back to let us know what the problem was. Will hopefully help the next person to see this issue. If you have any other info on where the short actually was located (frayed wire under seat, etc.), let us know. Thanks.
