Though I'm sure it's been done before, I thought that, in the spirit of the season, folks might like to share some snow shots of the LR3. As far as I'm concerned any shot of snow (car, scenery, kids playing, etc...) would be great.
I'll start. We got some snow in the hills around here today...
Specifically the Rover Specialties variety. A year ago it wouldn't have mattered but with a 9 month old baby around my time is not my own and needs to be scheduled a lot more closely.
Anyway, there will be two of us working on it and neither one of us is all thumbs with a wrench. What kind...
I towed a 5'x10' u-haul trailer for about 260 miles, mostly on the freeway. I was driving between 65 and 70mph most of the time. I could definitely tell that I was towing something but the truck had no problem accelerating or braking. I don't know how much the thing weighed when it was all...
So I'm towing a 5'x10' u-haul trailer on Wednesday. I had the dealer install the wiring and hitch when I bought the car but I'll probably need some other things to attach the trailer. Anyone got any ideas?
WOW, WOW, WOW!
When I first got the truck I took it to a grassy hill that people drive up. The tires just spun. Granted, it was a rainy day and the hill's covered in grass but I almost got stuck just trying to get back onto the road. I was pretty shaken confidence wise because it's not that...
I'm getting a second set of wheels and tires for off road use. I’m wondering if I can just get another set of TMPS sensors and mount them in the wheels? If I do that am I going to have to reprogram them each time I swap the wheels?
Thanks.
it's one of the few tires that will fit the 19" wheels and one of the Goodyear's has pick up a nail. I'm almost positive that the tire shop will be able to patch it up but if they can't, I need to have options.
so I need to put a 6 foot flag (or something like that) on truck to drive on the beach. Any suggestions as to how to mount one so that I can just take it off when I'm done?
-tia.
P.S. I'd rather not tape it on. ;-)
I have the premium leather seats in Alpaca and I think that the blue from the jeans might be rubbing off on them. I've only had the truck for a few weeks so I'm hoping that there's a quick and easy way to get the dye off.
Any advice?
Any thoughts? I'm worried that they might rub, especially if I were to drive in access mode (there are several parking garages in the area that I need to lower the truck to get into).
there's something under the driver's seat that's clicking. The service guy tells me that there's something lose under there and he wants half a day to deal with it.
Too bad I like over 100 miles from the dealer. Oh well, looks like I get to spend Thursday in Portland.
I'm just starting to scratch the surface of all of the fun stuff this truck has. It's a loaded HSE in Buckingham Blue with Alpaca.
What's the beak-in procedure? I'm planning on looking in the manual, but I'm kind of curious as to what people think about it.
So my wife and I took the baby and a friend of ours (hereafter referred to as "the two") to the dealership in Portland, Oregon. We got a chance to sit in all the cars and ask the dealer some questions (though I pretty much knew all the answers after my internet searching). Then he took us...
Hi, I'm thinking about getting an LR3 and would like to know if anyone has had experience (good, bad, indifferent) with the dealership in Portland, Oregon.
