Unfortunately after about 800 miles of highway driving the issue has come back. Kind of stumped at this point.

Yes, but if driven gingerly it may not do it at all. If trying to overtake cars on the highway it does it everytime.

I had the exact same condition and I validated it was the transmission. Long term I’ll be doing a fluid flush and a zip kit, trying to avoid a rebuild,

Yeah I’ve serviced the transmission and it seemed to help but not fully fix it. It seems to be more engine related the more I’ve messed with it. I’ve owned several rovers with the 6 speed and typically with transmission issues I found that the RPMS would fluctuate 100-200 rpms and I haven’t noticed any of that. I may try resetting the transmission adaptations to see if that helps with TC lock up but typically avoid resetting the adaptations.
