Has anyone disassembled the rearview mirror housing? I'm wanting to get a permanent source of power from there for a dash cam. Wondering if there are any tricks to opening it - I'm assuming the housing is held together with clips.

I hid my wire by tucking it under the lining, under the pillar, through the glove box and plugged it into that USB port. Works great.
