O2 Sensor Question
Beemer ---Sorry to thread hi--jack!! But do you have the specs on the 02 sensor testing? I looked thru a bunch of old posts and never could locate them. Found the MAFS Specs but not what a good 02 Sensor should put out. Thank you so much!! Melissa N -

Cat Question
Hey Thomas this is Melissa. No I did not have to have the ECU reset after the cats. I had to have the ECU Re-Mapped after the fuel pump install (ie re-setting the adaptations). Sounds like its a bad 02 sensors to me. I would change the 02 Sensor clear the codes and go from there. Or just clear... -

I cant believe that I am asking this ...
O.K. after the ABS light came on and everyone stopped crying when the rover failed to brake at an intersection. I have replaced the FRONT PADS. The pistons were a PITA !!! Only one ?? for the crew. There were these little springs between the pads/calipers over the cotter pins. They were broke... -

Really high idle
Hey well I just picked the D1 up from Rover Cannibal and the new pump is installed..However @ idle in all gears the engine is running @ 2300 -2400 RPM's..There is no check engine light yet no pd codes ..and @ first I thought it was the throttle cable was too tight ..thats not it @ all.. Last Ditch Effort
Ok ..Well The rover is still not starting. I have pulled the carpet up in the back put my ear to the floor and I hear nothing. Could the pump have gone bad already? If I trade the Rover in without it working/running they are only going to give me $$4000.00 for it.. I paid well over 15K for it... -

Coolant Leak Update
Thank you that is the cheapest I have seen them.. My head hurts today. The leak is back on the coolant. I walked out from the spa and there it was again that lovely green stuff..... I just do not know anymore. -

Another Leak ...Its Coolant
So I have had my Rover parked for the last hour or so and I noticed a HUGE puddle of coolant on the ground!! No hoses are leaking that I can tell .. I got under there and it looks like its coming from the MAIN SEAL near the trans?? This is not for certain I am just assuming ... ANY HELP WOULD BE... -

Fan Cowl ???
I changed my serpentine belt out about 8 weeks ago and I noticed that it is rubbing the fan cowl (see picture). Is this normal ?? Do I possibly have the fan belt on too tight? Maybe I need to release some tension? Could this be dangerous? Any thoughts? Thanks!! :help: Melissa -

I will be buying a new Jack. The one I have was my dad's (from the early seventies) and it is old and not so trustworthy as it once was. Hotttt!!!!!!!!!
OUCH!!!! The 1998 Disco is really HOT! I was moving some stuff on the passenger side floor board and I put my hand near the console (where the vents are for air). IT IS REALLY HOT !! Like burned my fingers hot ... Is this something I should be worried about ? Hot !! It was wet too..Tasted like... -

BIG PROBLEM with my D1 1998

Limb Risers
I am needing to make some Limb Risers for my off-roading adventures over Memorial Day weekend. I found a sight (gotmud.org) that gives instructions however I am not able to locate some of the items, ie the turnbuckle? Is there anybody who has any other suggestions?? TIA!! Melissa -

Where to mount the Hi Lift???
Hello. I just bought a 60'' Hi Lift Jack for my D1 1998. I have no clue where to put it?? I do have the standard grill guard (not ARB or RTE), and I also have the standard roof rack. I was thinking maybe some tabs welded to the front bumper ?? HELP!! I would only mount the Hi Lift when I am 4...
