Looking for some information regarding brakes for my 05 RR HSE - my stealership told me I have 3mm left at 22K miles. I'll check later tonight when I get the car back, but assuming they aren't lying... can you cut the rotors or must they be replaced? Any reviews on non-OEM rotors/pads that have better longevity and are low dust? Finally, seeing as how we had so much BMW parts sharing going on - are these the same rotors/pads found on the X5 4.4 trucks? - that would make sourcing aftermarket parts much easier... Thanks for the help.
