Well I picked up the Nokian WRG4 SUV tires this week and so far I love them.. A bit pricey at discount tire at $994.00 out the door but they roll so butter smooth and they are silent! Bring on the snow! I’ll report back once we get a good dumping of snow or ice.

Thank you Rover community for the great advice!

Just installed the Nokian WRG4 SUV 255-55/19 on a set of 2010 Range Rover Sport wheels. They fit great, look great, and so far drive great. Full review to come

Just as I suspected here ( https://www.landroverworld.org/posts/210085/ ) in the New Defender thread, it looks like Land Rover got Goodyear to make a bigger tire for a 19-inch rim.

So far, though, it's not the Duratrac. It's a 255/65/19 Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure tire that Goodyear has had for a while (and was previously discussed in this thread), but a 65 series instead of a 60 series, and now it's in a 114H load range (or 2,601 lbs), which is better than the standard XL range (around 2,400 lb), but still not nearly as good as an E-range tire (around 3,300 for a 265/65/18).

Heck, on the Tire Rack page it even says "Land Rover" in the size description.

Interesting in that this is a 32" tire (32.1 to be exact), so it clearly is for the new Defender, yet there has been no mention of a 19" wheel for the Defender yet, that I recall anyway. There is also an 18" version (255/70/18) which I suspect will be the stock tire for the 18" White Steel Wheels on the Defender.

Yeah, 19" wheels are the standard wheels on the Defender S. You can then option 18" wheels on an S if you want.

You can also option 19" wheels on the SE and HSE models.

Really interested in this being fitted on an LR4 19 inch rim....

There doesn’t seem to be much info on tread pattern or how aggressive an AT it will be..

Just got some information on these confirming they’re offered a result of Defender. And currently available but still quite limited... Reading through the various experiences posted on this forum with folks running diameters around 32 inches the 255/65r19 could be a good choice to increase side wall on LR4 with 19s.. LR must’ve “leaned on GY” to improve the load rating and side wall strength...
